Typical routine - get in the car, put the closed protein shake on the passenger rubber floor mat, and go. I would put it in the cup holder but it's awkward to shift with it in there

Except this time, the top of the bottle dislodged itself and the protein shake went all over the floor!

Anyone know any economical (cheap) solutions to prevent my car smelling like death?

Renting a hot water extractor / steam cleaner might be a good idea.... As someone who's accidentally left an empty shaker bottle post- shake, I would say do this ASAP because as you know, that's one of the worst smells.

.

What flavor? / What brand do you use?

I used to soak my bottles in mouthwash when I accidently forgot to clean them right away. For as easy as it is for that smell to stick to plastic, I couldn't imagine it in a car.

Dryer sheets, but a cheap box, throw them in the car under the seat, they have a huge soaking up smell power while putting out a pleasant Smell.

Mhmm v70R with space ball. Love it! (Mine lacks the space ball sadly)

I bought mine with 278k 4 months ago. Drove it for the first time in 2 weeks yesterday and totally forgot how fast it is... It just pulls and pulls and pulls.

Yep it's a beast, I bought mine to transport the new baby, the dogs and my wife, the look on people's faces when all of that in a wagon blows by them, priceless

I don't even have downshift to pass people which is awesome and annoying at the same time... The gearing is a bit short in 6th.

I'm currently using this shitty GNC AMP Chocolate blend. It's absolutely awful - it costs too much and it doesn't mix well with water - it tastes like super diluted chocolate milk.

I usually get the Whey Tech Protein in Mint Chocolate. I can only find it at Vitamin Shoppe but it mixes well and I haven't gotten sick of it after ~1.5 years.

Aw man that is rough. Same thing happened to my best friend, except it was in the trunk and he didn't realize until it had sat in the summer sun all day. Smelled until the day he sold it. I hope you have better luck!

ugh. Yeah haven't heard great things about the GNC stuff. I've been using Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard, and the French vanilla creme flavor for a few years now. love love love it. #fitnesslopnik?

I kind of want to start using a pre workout but havent bought any yet.

I used pre-workout for awhile and still occasionally use it. It pretty much is just like a bunch of caffeine. The stuff I use (it's called Psycho) says you should take 1 scoop for a regular workout, two for a more intense workout, and three if you wanna go full out 'Psycho'.

I did the 3 scoops once - I couldn't feel my face...

The bad thing is that I'm pretty sure it caused me to get my first cavity.

A friend of mine managed to spill an entire cup of coffee with tons of cream and sugar in it in my old car. It was in the morning on our way into the office too, so I couldn't even give it a proper cleaning until that evening. Let's just say I had to wash the carpet many many times and use an entire can of carpet shampoo before the smell went away. In hindsight, a steam cleaner would have been much more effective.

Also, get a box of baking soda and leave in in the car for the next few weeks. It will help absorb the odor. Oh, and get a container of DampRid too.
